2. What data we process
We process the data you voluntarily provide when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, or when you request an appointment using the website form: name, phone number, email address, reason for your visit, preferred date and time, and any comments you choose to include.
The appointment form on this website does not store any data on our server: it only prepares a message which you may then send, if you wish, using your WhatsApp app or your email program.
If you visit our centre, we will also process the health data needed to provide hearing care (for example, the results of your hearing tests), with the safeguards required by healthcare regulations.
3. Purposes
- To manage your appointment requests and answer your enquiries.
- To provide our audiology and hearing aid services and follow up on your fitting.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations, including those relating to clinical records and invoicing.
- To send you information about our services, only if you have given your express consent.
4. Legal basis
- Consent of the data subject when contacting us or sending a request (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps taken at the data subject’s request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
- For health data, the provision of healthcare (art. 9.2.h GDPR) and, where applicable, your explicit consent.
5. Retention
We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, afterwards, for the periods required by law. Clinical records are kept for the period established by Spanish Law 41/2002 on patient autonomy.
6. Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. If you contact us via WhatsApp or email, your messages will also be processed by the provider of that service in accordance with its own privacy policy. The technology providers that support us (web hosting, email) act as data processors with appropriate safeguards.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@centrosauditivoslafamilia.com or by post to the address above, enclosing a copy of your identity document.
If you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data, especially health data.
